I found it hard to set goals. What I really want is a new routine : one where exercise is central.I want to run with my kids, I want to feel like an athlete again, I want to not hurt in every part of my body. I want to lose some weight along the way...8kg ...not sure if that is too much. I figure if I do the right things, eat properly and exercise and if my lifestyle is healthy, whatever weight I get to is good enough . It is the change of routine that matters!
Here are some of the goals I listed:
1 month goal
Lose 2kg, exercise 6 days per week, enjoy myself!
6 month goal:
Lose 8kg, bushwalk more often on weekends, exercise daily,play outdoors with the kids more
12 month goal:
Maintain weight loss to date, exercise is a routine in my life, be more toned.
I am glad I wrote it down....I can check along the way and check in....
I have exercised 6 days this week. I have to admit that diet is not 100% healthy. Mother's day lunch put a severe dent in that ....and Mother's day chocolate gifts added to my naughtiness!
